Souls to Earth

I’m elated you’re reading my blog. I created this to fulfill a long-standing dream. My hope is that I can give you the strength to live to your fullest potential. This is where I share stories about my life journey, the struggles I have overcome, the things I am really good at, and the people I have encountered along the way. My stories and experiences will hopefully inspire you to make the changes you desire! God has gifted me with many valuable life experiences. He trusted me enough to go through some trenches, knowing He would use me and my voice. A deep sense of gratitude fills my soul because of that, the recognition and understanding are undeniable.

I am a virtuous woman, full of integrity, compassion and endless love. From a single mom of two for 20 years, to a newlywed in her 40’s, my family has grown and my experience has tripled. I love being a mom. I’m fierce, spirited, and a bit of a square. I’m a sensitive soul, deeply connected to my faith, so literal it's comical. It has been my strength and perseverance that have saved me throughout my life.

I believe our physical body is just a cocoon, a shelter, a place holder if you will. Our soul is endless and majestic. When we nurture it, as it should be nurtured, it is alive and well, shining a light outward given specifically to you. Our souls awaken our hearts, minds and bodies. As a truth seeker, I live to know His truth, not my own. Mind, body, and spirit, I belong to Him. Everything in our soul outpours onto this earth. Our soul is magic. It is our soul that connects us. Too often, we fail to recognize our own potential for change, growth, and release. Turn your light back on, live your best life. The journey of our souls to earth is temporary. It's how we use it that matters in the end.

Whatever challenges you may be facing, I want you to elevate yourself, physically stand up! The emotion of elevation, the emotion of standing, is something I hope you experience. Through encouragement and the highest hopes that live inside me, I want to help you find your strength. For many moons, I lived for someone else. I worried about what they might say, more so what they thought of me. This nonsense held me back, and it sadly validated my fears, so much so it stifled me and I became entangled with my own mind, trapped among the weeds and thorns. As a result, I began to live in a box, away from the world, silent; fearful.

God gave me an outwardly place to be, until I go home. My time here matters, your time here matters. As human beings, we are all a work in progress. Every day brings new opportunities for growth and learning. It is important to embrace this mindset of continuous improvement in order to reach our full potential. For many of us, stepping outside of our comfort zone can be daunting. We may fear failure or ridicule, or simply feel uncertain about what lies ahead. However, it is often in these moments of discomfort that we discover our true God-given talents. When we choose to step boldly into our purpose, we can trust that God is leading us and will not let us fail. This requires us to be obedient to His calling and to trust in His plan for our lives. And I fully understand that statement is so much harder to do than writing it, but I have done it, and He changed me world every single time I leaned on Him, and only Him. Don’t deny Him.

It is important to remember that our purpose may not always be clear or easy to discern. I am still unraveling mine. However, with whole-hearted dedication and a willingness to take risks, we can trust that we are on the right path. So, let us continue to embrace the journey of personal growth and discovery, trusting in God's guidance and leading with obedience. With each step outside of our comfort zone, we can move closer to fulfilling our purpose and reaching our full potential.
