It’s easier for me to write out my story. I love writing. ✍️I enjoy it so much. In sharing my story, with its pain, vulnerability, celebrations and everything in between, I hope to make an impact in the ways people see God’s goodness.  I want to help others find hope in the midst of their struggles. I want to show that no matter what life throws at us, God is always with us. I want to spread a message of courage, faith and hope.

And with that, I still have bigger goals and desires so I am stretching myself this year. I say writing is “easier” because maybe it’s a little bit more “safe.” 

The world of now is so fast, filtered and fragile. As for me, I have confidence in my abilities, but I struggle in my self-worth, those limiting beliefs that hold many of us back. I am committed to overcome that, and I try to help those around me that struggle with the same.  I strive to be an example of courage and faith, and hope to encourage others. I want to use my writing to help inspire and motivate others, and to create a safe space where people can express themselves without fear.

The Lord chose me for something else, and I wouldn't be able to fully serve him if I was confined to a pen and keyboard. The thought of using my voice, sharing my story, and yes, even showing my face triggers self-doubts. As those doubts begin to surface, we need to push past them and acknowledge what's happening. "Feel it to heal it," is my mantra. I've learned to be vulnerable and to trust God with the outcome. I'm willing to take whatever comes my way and use it as a platform for positive change. I'm determined to use my talents for His glory and to inspire others.

Genesis 1:27 is something I remind my daughter of all the time. We are made in HIS image. Despite how breathtakingly beautiful the truth is, I sometimes forget that myself, who I am. Anyone else?

Then as I read two Corinthians 3: 17-18:

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.” 

I then read Galatians 5:13. 

“For you were called to be free, brothers, and sisters; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love! “

Romans 8:28, which reminds me: “We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.” 

This reassures me that no matter what struggles I face, God is always with me, guiding and transforming me. With this faith, courage and hope, I am committed to using my voice, my writing, and my talents to inspire and serve others, spreading a message of love, courage, and positive change.
