Get Fed up and Stand up!

Do you even understand what it means? The details, the ins and the outs. The motions involved in every little aspect. The aftermath of the motions of every little aspect. You know, I've lived this life of mine, hustled hard, and given all and more. And through my life, I've met so many other women. Incredible woman! Women that have moved mountains! Beautiful women, brave women, destroyed women, angry women, broken women, intelligent women, wise women, passionate women. All these women left a little piece with me, and helped me be better than I was yesterday.

These woman taught me that one day I'll get fed up and stand up. These woman taught me that love doesn't mean pain. These women taught me that part of being a woman is knowing you'll always have to be stronger and fight harder. Through these woman, so many of them had stories I related to. I still meet them now. I'm talking about single moms, moms left to do the job themselves, moms forced to make a decision to sacrifice everything everyday to give her children a better life. I meet them everywhere! They amaze me. They helped me stand up.

You wouldn't understand what it means to forget who you. I've been picking up the pieces of the brokenness. I've been building up the beauty bestowed in their hearts. I've been teaching them what it means to love God first, and all will follow. I teach them to always help others but never forget about themselves. I've been teaching them that beauty is within and validation isn't required. I've been teaching them that worthy doesn't come from a person, but from God our father. I've been telling them, they deserve the top bunk, baskets filled with goodies, lots of laughter, presents under the tree and incredible love. I've been telling them never to settle.

But best of all, I’ve been loving them to the moon and back. I soak it up and keep it close because these moments will never come again. So for all the women who taught me to get fed up and stand up, thank you! Thank you for your story, for your impact on my life. I will always be grateful.
